CNC Program PLUS EVO II TIME EVO II
In the last few years, SAID has used the suffix evo as identifier. The EVO concept is being widely used in the production of the wheels presented in this catalog. Raw materials and new generation technologies resulting from research and development initiated a few years back are found in today’s EVO II wheels.
PLUS K2 & PLUS EVO II Lines: Designed and developed for CNC machines (Walter, Anca, Schneeberger, etc.), these wheels reflect all the characteristics required for their use. Cutting performance, profile retention, high repetition and qualitative consistency during the life of the tool, are just some of the characteristics of these wheels. By now, these second generation wheels are at the cutting edge of the SAID production.
TIME EVO Line: These wheels also reflect the EVO technology and are in particular indicated for the production of Tungsten Carbide micro tools on CNC machines (Rollomatic, Makino, etc.).
FLUSS LINE
These wheels are designed to be used for surface and cylindrical grinding, including centerless. The Floss wheels have innovative mechanical and physical properties as compared to the old range of wheels of the same type. The body of the wheel consists in part of aluminum and in part of resin; the inner aluminum core adds more structural stability and eliminates problems of hole ovalization, bending or shrinkage during the operation. The outer resin band reduces noise and allows for perfect absorption of micro vibrations for a higher quality finish.
PULSION EVO II - SHARP EVO II - WOOD LINE
PULSION EVO II and WOOD line: Full range of wheels for the manufacture and resharpening of Tungsten Carbide tipped circular blades and bandsaw blades with stellite. The wheels are listed for type of machinery.
Line SHARP EVO II: Wheels for the manufacture and resharpening of blades in HSS, usually utilized on CNC machinery (Schmidt, Vollmer, Loroch, Businaro, Peruzzi, Stark, etc.).
WHEELS & WHEELS
The catalog lists the most common configurations (FEPA code) of wheels in diamond and CBN. The wheels are separated by product line according to their application, or type of machines to be used with.
LIVE Line: Suitable for construction and resharpening of Tungsten Carbide tool or HSS components.
These wheels with resin bonds are utilized on traditional machines (universal sharpeners, small grinders, etc.) and can be used without lubrication.
SPEED Line: Disks for cutting inserts, small bars and cylinders made of Tungsten Carbide or HSS.
ICE CUT Line: Wheels for universal sharpeners, suitable for tool sharpening (cutters, bits, burins, etc.) without lubrication.
CUTS Line: Wheels for linear sharpeners, indicated for the manufacturing and grinding of knives in HSS or Tungsten Carbide.
FAST ONE - FAST FUSION - MASTER EVO
WE GO STRAIGHT TO THE MATTER: as a matter of fact, Fast One and Fast Fusion, our new products, differ due to the types of tools they can build, yet they perform the same “PROFILING” process.
The grinding wheels of the FAST ONE line are suited for the profiling of interchangeable knives for mechanically fastened cutters and carbide knifes on CNC machines (Schneeberger, Walter, and Tigra).
The grinding wheels of the FAST FUSION line are suited for the profiling of cutters with carbide cutters employing CNC machines (Schneeberger,Walter).
The bonds used for the wheels of the FAST line are EVO type and use up-to-the-minute resins with high heat resistance.
Normally, a very sharp bond wears out early, the bond of the FAST line cuts and keeps the wheel profile.
We tested this bond during the roughing process with carbide cutters with 5-millimeter thickness and we have achieved astonishing results as well with average-power machines.
Furthermore, the FAST wheel also performs very well even if the oil coolant equipment supplies little pressure.
NANO ONE
New NANO-TECHNOLOGIES applied to the processing of tungsten carbide on CNC machines.
WE WANTED TO ENTER THE CORE
News, the new G2 bond for MICRO-TOOLS construction.
TECH WHEELS LINE
MANUAL AND SEMIAUTOMATIC MACHINES?
TECH is a new SAID product, through using high temperature resins, SAID has raised performance limits, hardness, toughness and structural integrity.
TECH will reduce your cost with longer life of the wheel, shorter cycle temes in production, higter safety levels during processes and higher quality to your tools.
TECH is the new renge of standard whells, specilly designed to be used on manual and semiautomatic machines with or without cooling lubricant (Dry and Wet).

Active for over five years in the diamond polishing field for marble and granite, SAID has been able to confront and resolve not only the problems regarding the quality of their products but also those that either derive from the over 300 kinds of materials present in nature, or are generated by the manufacturers of lapidary tools with their extremely diversified installation systems and above all, diverse components. A search covering a wide area has led to a success that can be summarized in one word: standardization. Today, SAID is in fact able to offer tools that, in addition to a series of advantages over traditional abrasives, allow to optimize the results on any type of marble or granite, and can be installed on any type of machine. In addition to servicing the tools, SAID offers a high quality after-sale assistance through our office in Auburn Hills, Michigan for all the United States.
